For travelers 18+

• Volunteer with trusted partners who work on the ground in Cuba to provide essential services and relief

• Visit schools for the performing arts and learn about for students during the current energy crisis

• Deliver humanitarian supplies and solar energy resources to the CAYO community

• Support CAYO students, teachers and logistical staff such as drivers, hospitality staff and guides

Each traveler is asked to raise/contribute a tax-deductible fee of $1975. CAYO can provide payment links and receive tax-deductible donations from any friends and supporters. Your fee includes the following:

-Round-trip airfare

-Cuban tourist visa, required for entry

-Room/en-suite bathroom in private casa

-Visits to schools for the performing arts/community service centers

-Cultural activities

-Ground transportation, including airport pick-up and drop-off

-All meals

-CAYO t-shirt

-Tax-deductible donation which provides energy independence for a CAYO family

Expect a Zoom call with CAYO leadership in advance of your trip, where you will receive a detailed itinerary and pre-travel information specific to Cuba. You will also receive a handbook.

CAYO works with rental houses (casas particulares) in Vedado and Miramar that have confirmed independent energy sources in case of blackouts. These comfortable, well-appointed homes offer daily breakfast, air-conditioned bedrooms, and staff on site for any traveler needs.
